Even though it's been two weeks since the Phoenix Suns traded star forward Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets, the official terms of the deal were slow to be released. That's because there was more work to be done. In fact, The Athletic reported that the trade would be historic -- becoming the first trade in NBA history to feature seven teams .

The Rockets are shutting down Sheppard for the remainder of the Summer League, Kelly Iko of The Athletic reports.

Ryan Dunn led the Suns in scoring with 18 points in his return to action, while second-round pick Rasheer Fleming made his Summer League debut. The Suns struggled with turnovers, committing 20 and allowing 30 points off those miscues.
