A 17-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in the shooting of a 14-year-old Chicago high school student earlier this month, Chicago police said Thursday.

According to SAPD, the suspect was 14 at the time and was taken into custody shortly after. Thursday, seven months after the shooting, the teen has officially been booked and charged with Castillo's murder.

COLUMBIA, Md. — Howard County Police have arrested a fifth suspect in connection to the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Lance Carrington, who was found dead in a parked car in Columbia earlier this year.

The 17-year-old is facing attempted homicide charges after firing at two brothers who were walking on Birch Street last month in Franklin County.
