The United Auto Workers union on Monday said it had filed federal unfair labor practice charges against Stellantis for allegedly violating contract terms and attempting to move production of the Dodge Durango out of the U.

The United Auto Workers union said on Monday it had filed unfair labor practice charges against Chrysler-parent Stellantis for violating the labor contract the parties reached last fall. The UAW said it filed charges with the National Labor Relations Board because Stellantis has refused to provide information about its future product plans.

Stellantis NV said Monday it filed nine federal lawsuits against the United Auto Workers and two dozen union locals late last week it tries to prevent the union from calling a mid-contract strike over its delays reopening an Illinois assembly plant.
