Iowa faces a winter weather advisory for freezing rain Friday into Saturday. Some counties will see an ice storm warning with more accumulation.

The National Weather Service has fine-tuned their initial winter storm watch area issued yesterday. Most of the winter storm watch area has now become either a winter storm warning or a winter weather advisory. Here is the current alignment of winter storm warnings, winter weather advisories and even still a small area of a winter storm watch.
