This tough red maple is cold hardy and adaptable. It is drought tolerant once established and can tolerate wet soil. This lovely tree makes an excellent street tree because of its high tolerance for air pollution. The American Red Maple tree is easy to grow and requires no maintenance once it is established. This fast growing shade tree offers fast shade for the home landscape. Our American Red Maple is the Brandywine, a seedless variety of red maple.
