Uses Calcipotriene/Betamethasone Dipropionate Ointment is a combination medicine of corticosteriod and Vitamin A analog. This medication is used to treat skin conditions such as psoriasis. Betamethasone reduces the swelling, itching and redness that can occur due to these conditions. Calcipotriene reduces the growth of skin cells so that they dont build up into thickened, scaly skin patches. Cautions Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to any of the ingredients found in Calcipotriene/Betamethasone Dipropionate, or if you have any other allergies. Avoid sunlight or sunlamps and medicines that may make you more sensitive to light. Provide your doctor your complete medical history before using this medication. How to use Calcipotriene/Betamethasone Dipropionate Ointment is for topical use only. Wash your hands immediately before and after use.
