It may be a smaller size when it comes to hydrangeas but it delivers great impact with its large, raspberry red or neon purple blooms, depending on your soil pH. It grows best in sun to part shade and in moist, well-drained soil. In hotter climates it will do best in part shade, protected from hot, afternoon sun. It blooms on both old and new wood. Summer Crush is beautiful as a foundation or specimen plant or in borders. It will deliver beautiful flowers for cut flower arrangements through the summer. Plant this beautiful flowering shrub grouped together in garden beds or combine them with other annuals and perennials for a mix of seasonal color. This plant will arrive to you with minimal flower blooms. We ship them this way to ensure they arrive safe and healthy, but more importantly so you can enjoy their beautiful flowers longer.
