Each of our maximum-strength caplets contains Acetaminophen, a pain reliever, Guaifenesin, an expectorant, and Phenylephrine HCl, a nasal decongestant. Combined, these active ingredients work to temporarily relieve nasal congestion, sinus congestion and pressure, headaches, and minor aches and pains while temporarily promoting nasal and/or sinus drainage and helping loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions to rid the bronchial passageways of bothersome mucus and make coughs more productive. For adults and children 12 years and older, take two caplets every four hours, making sure not to take more than 12 caplets in any 24-hour period.
