The Looft Lighter is a high powered hair dryer / heat gun that is estimated to take 69 seconds to get a flame going through extreme heat. It is quite large, so won't work in tight spaces like a typical lighter would. It is somewhere in the middle between cheaply made and decently made, but as long as you have electricity, it will mostly perform the same tasks. It is an interesting alternative to flames and time will tell whether it is a superior option.
