Instead of paying hundreds of dollars to have one professionally made you will be able to type in family names on your own using free Adobe Acrobat software you can download online. This listing gives you two pdf files: The first file includes pre-created form fields for ease and convenience. Most generations allow for 3 lines of 12 pt text, the second to outer-most blocks allow for 2 lines of text, and the outer-most blocks will only allow for 1 lines of text. The largest space at the base of the tree will allow for up to 20 lines of text to list children, grandchildren, or for adding whatever other information or text you prefer. The Family Name block is one line of 80 pt Edwardian Script ITC text and will hold roughly 15 characters. You will not be able to change the style or size of text in the pre-created form fields. The second pdf file is the same tree but without the pre-created form fields. This is for individuals who prefer the flexibility to add text fields themselves and want to be able to edit the size and style of the text. To do this you will need to use the comment tools in Adobe Acrobat Reader. The blocks and branches in both files are fixed in place as this template is designed for tracing direct line ancestors. Lines and blocks cannot be copied or removed. IMPORTANT: This tree was specifically created to be used with Adobe Acrobat pdf reader or Adobe Acrobat-Pro. If you try using this template with other pdf reader software, or internet browsers, the text blocks may not work correctly.
