The Dash Cam 57 has a built in 2-inch display for convenient playback and captures footage with a 140-degree field of view at 1440p resolution. The Garmin Clarity HDR optics allow for crisp, clear recording in both day and night. The Dash Cam 57 utilizes a magnetic mount (included) that allows for easy removal of the camera. The dash cam comes packaged with a preinstalled 16GB microSD card and supports SD cards up to a 512GB, Class 10 or faster. Dash Cam's are ideal for capturing important footage. The internal GPS shows when and where events occur, making it easier than ever to pinpoint critical events. Once plugged into your vehicle's power source, the camera continually records. Simply set up the camera and forget it. The camera will automatically save video when it detects an incident, while the built-in GPS will provide a time stamp on the video. If you need to save footage manually, simply use voice commands to tell the camera when to start and stop audio recordings, take still pictures and more. Saved videos are stored securely in the online Vault and can be accessed using the Garmin Drive app on your compatible smartphone. Easily share video clips with others by sending a link and passcode. Clips are stored on the Vault for 24 hours at no additional cost. Garmin also offers extended storage plans via paid subscription. Monitor your vehicle from a remote location with the Garmin Drive app and Garmin Live View monitoring. Some vehicles may require the Constant Power Cable sold separately for this feature. This feature requires an active WiFi connection and allows you to access your camera remotely to view current footage. If an incident is detected while your car is parked, the Garmin Parking Guard feature will notify you with video clip notifications. This feature also required an active WiFi connection. The Dash Cam does more than simply record footage. Forward Collision Warnings, Lane Departure Warnings, 'Go' Alerts, Red Light and Speed Camera alerts are just a few of the advanced features offered in the Dash Cam. Need extra coverage? The Garmin Drive app can control and play back synchronized video from up to four dash cams (sold separately).
