Simple plug and play operation will allow you to connect the Mini2 to your vehicles power source and the camera begins to continually record so you can mount it and get on your way. The unobstructive design of this DashCam features two power cable options, upward or downward routing for a clean and discreet installation. Included with every DashCam Mini2 is a dual-usb plug for your vehicle so you can keep the dash cam connected all while charging your phone! This dash cam also requires at least an 8gb microSD card, Class 10 or faster (not included). Once an incident is detected , the Mini2 DashCam springs into action and automatically saves the video from just before, during, and after the incident happens allowing you to capture the full event. Record 1080p HD video with a 140-degree field of view for crisp recording to view important details both day and night. Voice control, available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Swedish languages allow you to tell your camera verbally when to start, stop, and save audio recordings, take still pictures and more. Via the Parking Guard feature, once your car is parked and you have an active Wi-Fi connection and the purchase of a constant power cable (sold separately), your Mini2 turns into an extra set of eyes for your parked vehicle and automatically alerts you with a video clip notification to the Garmin Drive app once an incident has been detected. With an active Wi-Fi connection and the purchase of a constant power cable (sold separately), via the Garmin Drive app on your compatible smartphone, you gain Live Monitoring access from anywhere you park when your away from your vehicle. Also, through the Garmin Drive app with an active Wi-Fi connection on your compatible smartphone, you have full access to an online Vault where you can share video clips with others by sending a link and passcode to access this data in the online Vault for 24 hours from the time of upload. You can also purchase extended storage plans via paid subscriptions with Garmin for expanded video storage that can be shared.
