Uses Humalog KwikPen contains insulin lispro as the active ingredient. This medication is used to reduce sugar levels in adults, with diabetes mellitus. Glucose monitoring is important while receiving insulin therapy. Provide your doctor your complete medical history before using this medication, such as liver or kidney disease or any other medical conditions. How to use Humalog KwikPen is for subcutaneous injection use only. The injection site should be changed frequently to prevent thickened skin or lumps under the skin.
