Uses Quetiapine Tablets belongs to the class of medication known as atypical antipsychotic drug . This medication works by restoring the balance of neurotransmitters in the brain. Quetiapine is used in the treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, sudden episodes of mania or depression associated with bipolar disorder. Cautions Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to quetiapine or any other ingredients found in Quetiapine Tablets, or if you have any other allergies. This medication causes drowsiness. Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs alertness until you know that you can do it safely. Provide your doctor your complete medical history before using this medication. How to use Quetiapine Tablets is for oral use only. Use this medication as directed by your physician and follow the instructions on the manufacturer's packaging. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Pick a time or times of the day that is easiest for you to remember your medications, and take your pills at these same times each day. Possible side effects Constipation, drowsiness, upset stomach, tiredness, weight gain, blurred vision or dry mouth are some of the possible side effects.
