The Quick Fire® Hydrangea is a spectacular bushy shrub with many upright stems, forming a fountain of blooms that last for six months of the year. By late May you will have big conical white flower heads which hold all summer. In fall they turn pink, with a finale of rich dark pink by October. Even cut they last a month in a vase. Grow this shrub as a lawn specimen reaching about 8 feet, or in shrub borders. Use it as an informal summer hedge or grow it in a tub or half-barrel on a patio. - Big conical flower heads are in bloom for six months - White flowers turn light pink and then dark pink as fall progresses - Very bushy with many strong, upright stems - Easily grown in ordinary garden conditions - Completely hardy even in zone 3 Full sun, with some afternoon shade in warmer zones, are the ideal conditions for the Quick Fire® Hydrangea, but it will take light full shade too. Any ordinary garden soil that is well-drained will suit it perfectly, and some mulch will conserve moisture, although this plant is much more drought-resistant than most other hydrangeas. Hardy even in zone 3, it can be grown all across the country, and its is setting gardens everywhere on fire with its beauty and ease of growth.
