UC 157 F1 Asparagus Seeds. Non-GMO, F1 Hybrid. Asparagus officinalis. Developed by Frank Takatori and Frank Southers at the University of California at Riverside in 1978, this 1st generation Asparagus hybrid is known for early emergency of spears. An excellent choice for home gardens, market growers, and open field production, it will produce heavy yields of dark green Asparagus spears. Perennial in Zones 2-7. Free of AV II, Tolerant to Fusarium, rust & blight. About 630 Seeds per Ounce.
