This book is a wonderful story set in England during WW2, featuring two young women from different backgrounds who join the cause to survive. It follows the journey of Frieda and Sandra, two young women who share working long hours on a farm and have brother's they worry about. The book is full of emotion and provides a unique look into the effects of war on youth. It is a great read for teenagers to old folks, and is sure to bring back fond memories.
