Uses Triamcinolone Acetonide belongs to the class of medication known as glucocorticoids. This medication is used to treat skin conditions (such as eczema, dermatitis, allergies, rash). Triamcinolone reduces the swelling, itching and redness that can occur due to these conditions. Cautions Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to any of the ingredients found in Triamcinolone Acetonide formulation, or if you have any other allergies. Provide your doctor your complete medical history before using this medication. Keep out of reach of children. How to use Triamcinolone Acetonide is for external use only. Apply a thin film of this medication to the affected areas of the skin and gently rub in, usually two to four times daily or as directed by your doctor. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Possible side effects Stinging, burning, itching, irritation, dryness, redness may occur on the application site. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly. This is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur. If you notice other effects not listed, contact your doctor or pharmacist. Missed dose If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not apply twice.
