Made out of high grad cast-iron material, it is great for training indoors and outdoors. Whether you workout at home or at your home gym, take them wherever you go. Wide Handles Smooth, high-quality slightly textured handle provides a comfortable & secure grip for high reps, makes chalk unnecessary for both men & women. Vinyl Coat Finish Durable cast iron encased with color-coded vinyl prevents corrosion, increases durability, reduces noise and protects flooring. The weights are color coded by weight. Flat Bottom Flat base allows upright storage. It also makes it easier to hold in push-up position, renegade rows, mounted pistol squats & other exercises requiring a kettlebell with a flat bottom. "Nothing to complain about with this weight. It does exactly what it should...which is to be heavy. The entire body of the weight is made of cast iron, and the lower section is coated in plastic dip. You could go out and buy one of the more expensive 'name brand' weights, but this one is the exact same thing for less money. I am sure this one will last many years to come. The handle portion is comfortable and has no rough spots or ridges. It seems Sunny took some time to sand or polish the surface to make it more friendly to your hands."
