This USAF badge comes in an approved mirror finish and is regulation size. The Pararescue badge is ready to be worn on all official USAF uniforms. The back of the badge has a standard two prong and clutch back to make sure the badge sits nicely on your uniform. While this Air Force badge is meant for uniform wearing it could also be worn with honor on formal attire and be displayed in a shadow box. Awarded to enlisted personnel who have satisfied the prerequisites for and are performing duty in the pararescue career field. The badge is worn on a distinctive maroon beret which was approved for wear in 1966 by USAF Chief of Staff, Gen. John P. McConnell. The color of the beret symbolizes the blood sacrificed by pararescuemen who are a highly trained rescue force prepared to save lives under the most intense and dangerous conditions. The Air Force Pararescue Badge is 100 percent made, handled, and inspected by US Veterans in the USA.#html-body [data-pb-style="6540C9ECD56AF"]{justify-content: flex-start; display: flex; flex-direction: column; background-position: left top; background-size: cover; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-attachment: scroll; border-style: none; border-width: 1px; border-radius: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 10px; padding: 10px;}#html-body [data-pb-style="6540C9ECD56BD"]{border-style: none; border-width: 1px; border-radius: 0px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;}
