We've designed the favorite Catalina Bed with a low footboard so your little one can get in and out of their bed on any side. Our Catalina Collection is versatile as it is beautiful with clean lines and classic beadboard paneling. Favorite details include lathe-turned legs and solid wood bun feet. HOW IT IS CONSTRUCTED Crafted with solid poplar wood, birch veneers and MDF. Expertly constructed with tenon and groove joinery for high quality structural integrity. Kiln-dried wood helps prevent warping, splitting, cracking and developing mildew. Finish is hand-applied in multi-step process using child-safe, water-based paints that provide durability, richness and depth of color to each piece. The use of veneers results in high-quality furniture with flawless surfaces and consistent color tones. GREENGUARD Gold Certified to contribute to healthier indoor air, keeping you and your family safer. DETAILS THAT MATTER Designed with classic ball finials, beadboard paneling and lathe-turned feet. Mattress platform is made of 100% solid poplar wood in slat-roll for extra strength; designed for use with or without a box spring. Mattress and box spring are sold separately. Mattress platform can be positioned at two heights: (1) lower height for easy access in and out of bed for young children and (2) higher height to accommodate a trundle (sold separately) for overnight guests or extra storage. Trundle Bed provides a comfortable extra bed for overnight guests when used with our specially sized Trundle Mattress (both sold separately). KEY PRODUCT POINTS Minimum mattress height: 9".
