The MMP ID Digital Length Gage offers a rugged alternative to calipers for longer length measuring of Internal Diameters. This version of the MMP Length Gage is designed to measure either Inner Diameters or Outer Diameters / Lengths. The MMP ID has two 14mm diameter posts used as your points of contact. The Digital Display has an offset function that allows for switching between inside and outside measuring. The battery-powered LCD readout includes a standard inch, mm, and fractional display. The display's keypads offer presets for zero and reference with an inch/mm conversion. The display offers an IP60 rated protection. Features include... Inch, mm, & fractional display 0.001" / 0.01mm / 1/64" Resolutions 14mm Diameter Contact Posts Posts are 6" in Length Easy to read LCD Digital Readout IP67 Rated Protection on Scale IP60 Rated Protection on Display Display includes Industrial Grade "C" Battery Offset Function for ID Measuring. Includes Certificate of Calibration. Select Measuring Range from Pulldown menu. All Units 96" and longer must ship via LTL Truck. Gage is made to order. Non-Contact, Wear-Free Linear Encoder The MMP encoders use magnetic sending technology, so they work without contact and ensure a virtually wear-free and maintenance-free operation. This ensures high-accuracy measurements for a lifetime.Unlike rotary encoders, there are no moving parts. All the mechanical components found in rotary encoders (flange, shaft, bearings, etc.) are not needed, which eliminates mechanical failures and deficiencies.
