Ranging in size from 1 to 1 3/4 inches across, they are a gentle violet-blue, with a fuzzy appearance that adds to the soft, calming effect of the tall heads. The plant grows eagerly to 5 feet, holding the blooms well above the rich, finely-cut foliage. A fine landscape choice, and unexcelled for dried arrangements! To dry, simply cut the stem while the flower is still very fresh, and hang it upside-down in a well-ventilated, dry, somewhat cool location.
